Traffic Solvers launches a new Melvin mail module within their own BaaS platform. With this module, road authorities can easily inform project stakeholders such as emergency services, waste collectors, public transport parties, and internal stakeholders from a single central environment.
The module was developed as a practical addition to Melvin. While Melvin makes project information centrally available, the email module helps share this information with involved parties more quickly and clearly. To prevent duplication of information, the module always refers to Melvin for the most up-to-date information.
Less manual work
Many road authorities recognize the process: manually copying information from Melvin to Outlook emails, informing various parties separately, and meanwhile trying to keep track of the latest version of project information.
With the new module, this process is largely simplified. Users simply select their Melvin project and then choose which stakeholders need to be informed. Recipients are automatically forwarded to Melvin, ensuring that up-to-date project information remains centrally available.
Developed from practical experience
The first pilot was conducted together with the Municipality of Barneveld. During this pilot, the module was further refined based on feedback from daily practice.

According to Stefan Vasilev, co-founder of Traffic Solvers, the module aligns well with the vision behind the platform. “A large part of this process was still done manually alongside existing systems. From a technology perspective, we look at how we can make daily work smarter, faster, and more organized without making the process more complicated.”
Availability and launch promotion
The Melvin email module is available immediately for road authorities. As an introduction, Traffic Solvers is offering road authorities the opportunity to try the module free of charge for one month. After this trial period, the module can be used for a fixed fee of 85 euros per month. With this, Traffic Solvers aims to lower the barrier for road authorities who wish to simplify their communication regarding roadworks.
Part of a broader platform
The email module is part of Traffic Solvers' broader BaaS platform. Within the same platform, organizations can also deploy communication modules for disruption communication, perception surveys, and mobility campaigns related to roadworks and infrastructure projects. The Melvin email module is now available within the Traffic Solvers platform.
